Frequently Asked Questions: Your Sorry Mom Ink Guide

Do you take walk-ins for tattoos today?

Yes, we love walk-ins!

We have a large team of talented artists across our two locations and reserve space every day for spontaneous tattoos.

  • Walk-in Hours: We're available 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday, from 12 PM to approximately 8 PM(close time can vary).

  • Best Advice: The best way to secure a spot is to stop by one of our two Lacey locations as early as possible. Our front desk staff will be happy to assist you in getting set up with an available walk-in tattoo artist.

What styles of custom tattoos do your artists offer?

Our resident artists are celebrated for their expertise across a comprehensive spectrum of bespoke tattoo styles. As the premier custom studio in the Pacific Northwest, we are equipped to translate any vision into an enduring piece of body art. Our capabilities span:

  • Contemporary Illustrative Styles: Illustrative Realism, Dark Art, Anime, Art Nouveau, Semi-Realism, Abstract, Surrealism, and the distinct Cybercidalism.

  • Highly Detailed Fine Art:Dainty Fine Line, Water Color, Portraits, Micro Portraits, Mandala, and Ornamental design.

  • Classic & Edgy Genres: American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, the bold Trash Polka, and specialized narrative work including Smut, Full-Color Large Scale, and Black and Grey.

Our Custom Studio Philosophy: The Curated Approach

We operate strictly as a 100% custom-design studio.

You will not find pre-drawn "flash" hanging in our space, as we fundamentally reject the mass-produced approach. We believe a tattoo is a singular, highly personal investment. Our curated process begins with your concept, which our artists then meticulously render and refine to create an original, one-of-a-kind piece of custom art that exists nowhere else. This commitment ensures the integrity, quality, and exclusivity of your finished work.

How do I book an appointment with a specific tattoo artist?

All of our professional tattoo artists manage their own schedules, except for same-day walk-in tattoos.

  1. Artist Selection: Visit our "Artists" page to browse portfolios and choose the artist whose style best fits your vision.

  2. Direct Contact: It is always recommended to reach out to your chosen artist directly through their preferred method—usually a dedicated social media platform or inquiry form.

  3. General Inquiry: If you prefer not to use social media, you can use our general inquiry form here and we will help direct your request.
